‘How do we cater for everyone’s needs at our Wedding?’
If you have planned a wedding before you will know all about dietaries, especially now we are so much more aware of food intolerances and allergies. So what should you do if you are planning to get 80+ people in a room together for a meal? You want all of your guests to have a great time and feel catered for without feeling like to are singling somebody out? or perhaps you or your partner have an allergy, intolerance or Dietary need, and you don’t want to be eating differently to everyone else on YOUR wedding day?!
As somebody who builds bespoke menus everyday, this is THE MOST common concern. My answer is always to put your trust in us to provide a meal that everyone will love and armed with the right info, this is exactly what we do, however, here are a few things to consider:
- Choose a menu that YOU will be excited to share with your guests, something that reflects your own needs that everyone else will love too.
- Options for your guests to pre choose are tricky, this just gives you more wedmin, try choosing a menu that has a variety to cater for all needs, sharing and grazing works brilliantly for this without anyone feeling singled out, they also cater for different appetites!
- You’ve chosen a meal you LOVE but you are worried about too many different dietaries? We ask our couples to collect dietary requirements and then we work out dietary versions that will work brilliantly with the main choice.
- You are a Vegetarian or Vegan and you want everyone to eat what you are eating? We say, GO FOR IT! remember, first and foremost, you have to be excited about your menu, so we will build something with you in mind that everybody will love, meat eater or not!
